• About Us


    The Chicopee Chamber of Commerce, now known as the Greater Chicopee Chamber of Commerce, was founded in 1962.  We are a 501(c)4 nonprofit organization and, although we partner with the City to promote community events, public safety initiatives and more, we are not a government agency.

    For the past 53 years, the Chamber has worked diligently to unite, guide and promote the business community in the Greater Chicopee area.  The Chamber does this, in part,  by providing numerous benefits to businesses who take advantage of Chamber membership. These benefits are outlined under Member Benefits, a dropdown menu item found under the Membership tab on our Home Page.  What is important to note is that ALL employees of a Chamber Member Business can take advantage of a multitude of opportunities and benefits offered through Chamber membership.  Employees may attend our Salute Breakfasts, Business After Hours networking events and the Shining Stars Awards Banquet, participate in our annual Golf Tournament, take advantage of Hot Deals and so much more!  These opportunities are not solely for the CEO, Marketing Director or contact person of your organization; they are for all of your employees, which means that Chamber membership benefits nearly thousands of employees!
