Spotlight On: Rumbleseat Bar & Grille
Our Member Relations Committee was pleased to surprise The Rumbleseat Bar & Grille as our March 2026 Member Spotlight Presented by Ted & Barbara Hebert of Teddy Bear Pools & Spas.
The Rumbleseat Bar & Grille has been a family business for over 20 years, currently owned by Billy Stetson, who grew up in Chicopee. Stetson was working at Callaway Golf and taking business courses at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst when he and his father took a chance and bought the Rumbleseat together. After working full-time at Callaway while also running the Rumbleseat with his father, Stetson eventually was able to buy out his father and fully pursue the Rumbleseat.
The Rumbleseat Bar & Grille is Chicopee’s classic, go-to neighborhood sports bar and grill. They have over 30 TVs streaming any and every sports game, a covered outdoor bar, indoor and outdoor patio dining, a full kitchen menu with daily specials (and known around town for their wings and pizza), a robust beer menu, keno, banquet and patio space for private events, frequent live music and entertainment, and now a top-of-the-line golf simulator.
The newest addition to the Rumbleseat’s many offerings is its Golf Room which officially opened in December 2025. The space was formerly a pizza parlor for many years, but owner Billy Stetson had a vision for what it could be. Being a sports bar, the addition of two golf simulators really fit with the theme and atmosphere of the Rumbleseat. This state-of-the-art technology are the only golf simulators you can find in Chicopee, open 8am to midnight every day of the week, and is perfect for the clientele that enjoy the 19th hole after a golf game. The simulators offers golf lovers or beginners a chance to enjoy music, food, and drinks, all while working on their swing - especially in the cooler, off-season months. With, of course, the added benefit of walking just a few feet to pick up your golf ball!
To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day tomorrow, there will be live Irish music by the Sons of YankCelt, featuring members from the original Yankcelt ensemble formed in 1990: singer, Irish historian and frontman Bo Fitzgerald, Craig Eastman on Fiddle/mandolin, Guy Devito on bass, and special guests. The Rumbleseat is a very popular stop after the annual Holyoke Road Race and St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which is this weekend, too! Plus transportation to-and-from the race to Rumbleseat, beverages, and corned beef dinner available. There will be live music by The Tinkers and Just Go With It on Saturday, March 22nd.
To celebrate St. Joseph’s Day this week on Thursday, March 19th, wear red and come out to the Rumbleseat with traditional Polish food from Bernat’s, and drink, and Polish music throughout the day, hosted by The Polish Center for Discovery and Learning, Bernat’s, and The Rumbleseat.
