Our Member Relations Committee was pleased to surprise Paw Street Barkery as our June 2025 Member Spotlight Presented by Sunshine Village!

So what's really in your dogs treats? Shawn Cohen-Sherry, microbiologist, founder and co-owner of Paw Street Barkery, wanted to know what his dog was actually eating, and perhaps make a healthier, tastier treat. So, Shawn developed a dog treat he could trust to give his own pup. It all started with the Chicken Bow-wow treat, and since then, the business began. What started as a home bakery called the Barker's Dozen then expanded in 2013 when Shawn & husband Brett Cohen-Sherry opened the brick-and-mortar store we have come to know and love as Paw Street Barkery.

For over 10 years now, Paw Street Barkery has been making delicious and nutritious dog treats for our furry family members. Paw Street offers over 7 Signature and 5 Gourmet treats, as well as rotating Seasonal Flavors. These are treats you can trust, locally made in small batches with wholesome, healthy ingredients.

Located on Memorial Drive in Chicopee, be sure to stop by the bakery and pick up something tasty for the furry friends in your life! You can even bring your pup into the shop to try on a bandana, choose a toy, and taste a treat.
