WESTFIELD BANK JOINS WITH CUSTOMERS TO FIGHT HUNGER AS PART OF “THANKS FOR GIVING” EVENT
Westfield, MA—Westfield Bank is inviting its customers across western Massachusetts and northern Connecticut to help fight hunger in local communities as part of the “Thanks for Giving” food drive.
From Tuesday, November 12 through Friday, November 22, Westfield Bank customers are invited to stop by any Westfield Bank branch to donate non-perishable food items, or to make a monetary donation. All food and monetary donations will go to the primary food pantry or community kitchen in each of the towns in which Westfield Bank has offices.
“We are truly thankful for the support of our customers, who mean so much to us, and grateful for the opportunity to serve local families and businesses,” said James C. Hagan, President and CEO of Westfield Bank. “At this time of year, as the weather gets colder, and heating bills are in the mix, there are many individuals and families throughout our communities who could use some extra support in making sure there’s enough food on the table. That’s why we’re inviting our customers to help fight back against hunger, and we’ll make sure donations get where they can do the most good locally. We wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving.”
“Thanks for Giving” donation bins can be found in all Westfield Bank branches starting on Tuesday, November 12.
