Though we work closely with a dedicated team of volunteers, the Chamber is staffed by a team of three. Each of them endeavors to provide their members, and the community at large, with quality service, up-to-date information and a consistently warm welcome.
Jess Roncarati-Howe works hard to ensure that the Chamber runs smoothly forward. She oversees both the office and Accelerator Program, which houses start-up small businesses and the Chicopee Police Substation. Jess plans out the annual calendar (with much input from Bobbi, Sarah, and volunteers) and the budget, coordinates our Corporate Leadership, and plans for programming and strategic initiatives. She is also the voice of the Chamber at both events and in print. Perhaps most importantly, Jess collaborates with the Board of Directors, staff, volunteers and local leaders to ensure that the Chamber is increasingly relevant and impactful as a resource for the business community.
Bobbi Mabb, our Program Director, coordinates three dozen events throughout the year. From the smallest roundtable to the Shining Stars Gala, her level of organization and attention to detail ensure that attendees’ valuable time is well spent... and enjoyable. She is also the creative and tech-savvy force behind all of the marketing done for both our members and the Chamber itself. Every post, email, text and web update comes right from her desk. Bobbi also co-produces a number of collaborative events with the City of Chicopee, which bring attention and business to the City’s up-and-coming downtown.
When you walk into the Chamber office, Membership and Accounts Manager Sarah Williams is the welcoming face at the front desk. She is the first person that prospective and new members connect with and is constantly working to ensure that current members get the most out of their investment. Sarah coordinates friendly and engaging initiatives, such as our signature Cookie Crashes and her new member information gatherings/benefits refreshers. She is also our resident ChamberMaster Guru, constantly discovering better ways to make this interactive system work for our members, and manages their accounts.
