As the City of Chicopee continues its momentum in the downtown area, the Greater Chicopee Chamber of Commerce, Chicopee Cultural Council, MassDevelopment, and the City of Chicopee have planned another 'Lights On Art and Culture' event on Friday, February 22nd from 5-8pm. In addition, Saturday, February 23rd from 10am-noon will be added to show appreciation to those who live, work and play in the downtown area.
To draw even more attention to the event, three buildings - Lyman Mills, Old City Library and SilverBrick Mills - will all be lit up in blue to attract those participating in the event, passing by or driving on I391. In addition to the open doors, art and music on display, the public will be able to go inside Lyman Mills and SilverBrick Mills to see the changes happening. On Saturday, come on back as the businesses open again to welcome you to stroll downtown and take advantage not only of the regular business services, but of the Book Mobile, Elms College Nursing Van, and many others that will be parked in the Westfield Bank Training Center lot.
